Brandon M. Ford, D.D.S.

Dr. Brandon Ford has been in private practice since 2001 after completing a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Baltimore, Md.  Dr. Ford received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2000.  Prior to that he received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Loyola College in Maryland.  Born and raised locally in Lutherville, Md. he attended Loyola Blakefield High School.

While in dental school Dr. Ford completed a clerkship program in oral surgery and was a member of two academic honor societies - The Gorgas Odontological Honor Society and Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society.  Furthermore, he was the recipient of two special awards - The Organization of Teachers of Oral Medicine Award for excellence, achievement, and promise in the field of oral medicine and the prestigious Nathan David Gold Memorial Award for conscientious and enthusiastic dedication to clinical practice.

According to Dr. Ford his most important contribution during his dental education was starting, along with a fellow classmate, an ethics committee at The University of Maryland.  This committee formulated the very first "Hippocratic Oath" (like medical students take) in the school's long, celebrated history.  The purpose of this Oath was to confirm to all dental students their moral and ethical responsibilities to the public they serve.  The Oath was finally recited by all dental students upon graduation in 1999 and has been recited by every graduating class since then.  Dr. Ford is very proud to have been instrumental in creating the Oath along with the other 4 ethics committee members.  He carries this same conscientious dedication to ethical and moral values into his private practice today.

Dr. Ford resides in Towson, Md. with his wife Jennifer and their two children.
